AIRX Full-Face

Full Head Protection for High-Speed Riding

AIRX HELMET — Inflatable Full-Face Motorcycle Helmet Concept

Technical Abstract

AIRX HELMET is an inflatable full-face motorcycle helmet concept engineered for highway speeds. It features an integrated chin bar, multi-layer impact absorption, and air ventilation channels.

Long-distance and highway motorcyclists require full-face impact protection, but carrying a rigid full-face helmet into offices or transit remains a major hassle. AIRX investigates whether an inflatable multi-cell cushion and articulated shell can collapse into a compact carry bag.

Core Innovation & Hypothesis

“A full-face helmet can collapse into a 28 × 18 × 12 cm carry case and expand to high-speed protective rigidity within 10 seconds at 2.5–3.5 PSI.”

CONCEPTUAL STUDY. Unvalidated concept. Not certified for road use. Pending drop-tower and penetration testing.

ABS+PC Articulated Shell with High-Frequency Welded Air Cells

A folding full-face architecture with a rigid chin bar and multi-layer shock absorption system combining high-density EPS with pneumatic damping.

Full-face impact protection that fits in a commuter bag.
Rapid 8–10 second deployment.
Dual-channel ventilation for tropical and warm weather comfort.
This is a preliminary engineering concept exploration maintained by WesbondX for academic, research, and technical peer-review purposes.
